Hi everyone,
My fingers and feet have become painful again. Fingers have started clicking at the joints, is this normal? I don't seem to have a lot of inflammation, just pain. Having blood test tomorrow, so maybe they will give some answers but I just wondered what you all thought.

hi Mary,

i've never had clicking joints in my fingers apart from one in my little finger,

that turned out to be trigger finger so i had an injection in it which it put right. this was before i was diagnosed with RA although looking back it was probably part and parcel of the start of it.

let us know how you get on with your bloods.

My little and ring fingers click in the mornings when I wake up. It happens when I try to straighten or bend the finger. I filmed it with my digital camera and showed the GP. he was able to confirm that it was trigger finger by watching the film. Mine wears off after a few minutes so I've never had injections in the fingers. I'd be too squeamish to have injections here unless I was desperate.

Hi Mary

Sorry that you are having pain in your hands and feet. I find that this is usually the first place I get pain if I am going to have a flare up. Also maybe your medication needs reviewing. I have just had to increase my methotrexate as I had tried to reduce it but my hands and feet were stiff and painful again.

Best Wishes

Sue
